The "Healthy Diet Promo" Began 1980 to 84 Now Exploded Into Huge "Health Disaster"

The current health disaster hitting U.S. all began with the newly made popular concept that saturated animal fat, coconut oil, butter and other used in the past for long term fats were a health villain, that you needed to switch to what they were selling, corn oil, crisco, margarine, hydrogenated fat, high fructose corn syrup etc all man made were the healthy answer, and animal fat and high fat consumption etc was plugging up your pipes. Cholesterol that your body made was going to kill you, only their medication was the answer. That eating eggs, butter, coconut oil and meat fat and what had always been considered healthy was all wrong, just buy and take their medication, eat their man made fats oils and sugars, follow their latest diet just off the press. and you would be fine. The media dived in with planted stories that snowballed as they went and no one dared question the faulty science they were citing as the basis.After 25 years of rising disaster, it finally dawned on a few they had been sold a bill of goods. Studies finally made the press that eggs were good for you, one of natures most perfect foods and not part of your problem, that butter was healthy and their "health food margarine" was a health disaster, That coconut oil was one of the most perfect health fats and saturated fats had never been a problem. That mothers milk (as well as animal) was half saturated fat. Then the gurus kept insisting that any idiot knows if you "Eat Fat You Get Fat"..... Studies have long shown that was false and has been known since the thirties, that only carbs are made by your body (with insulin hormone) into body fat..Atkins claiming that eating all you wanted and skipping carbs you lost weight was attacked mercilessly in the press as a quack endangering the public. When studies proved without a doubt Atkins low or no carb worked and high carb diets did not, they were never able to accept it. New low fat high carb diets never the less continue to appear everywhere constantly and every time by starving yourself of total calories, they succeed short term...(high carb diets only succeed for a short time) big publicity on success, but they gained it all back plus a few pounds, bought a new diet book and tried a different version of the low fat high carb craze, never giving up. Starving and totally denying themselves and constantly straining and trying desperately to sweat off pounds at the gym... They lost weight, most often muscle and when they gained it back, it was not gaining back lost muscle it was new fat. Anyone trying to counter this ongoing politically correct cycle of low fat, high carb, high cholesterol financially entrenched, sell my new diet, position as faulty was attacked in the media immediately and mercilessly. Gary Taubes out with a new book "Good Calories Bad Calories" showing clearly faulty science studies used to justify their financial wizardry was and is no exception. Immediately, the old, "any idiot knows" carbs are carbs and if you eat more carbs then you burn you have weight gain and if you burn more then you eat with lots of exercise you lose weight. This is the old logic they used to try to convince everyone that the much maligned Atkins diet and studies proving otherwise, must be faulty. The truth it turns out, that there is all sorts of evidence that the type of calories do count, and you only lose fat permanently eating high fat, not eating high carbs. They just never gave up despite study after study showing them wrong and the public continues to buy into the old "any idiot knows theory." Gary Taubs new book, Good Calories, Bad Calories, pretty well lays it out, very low carbs and very high fat is natural and keeps off weight. Saturated fats never were a problem, counting calories is a complete waste of time. and that exercise is good but is optional and is not crucial. He cites the studies and explains the faulty science (studies and interpretations etc) used to sell you a bill of goods for the last fifty years.
Like communism never working they will always be back with some justification of how the results are being misinterpreted and the blame lies elsewhere. The high carb people and communist supporters neither one either one ever give up. The press will be all over of how they really were right in telling you this nonsense for fifty plus years, and how any idiot still knows (despite numerous studies for 60 years proving otherwise) that eating fat causes fat and that calories are calories and eating more then you burn equals gaining weight. Look at what is working and then look at the people on these high carb yo-yo diets, where you do lose but promptly "gain it all back" diets, getting fatter each time.
Weighed in at 258 for years getting heavier all the time. Going on a "no carb" regimen to control my diabetes. (eating what my ancestors ate) I have lost 64 pounds and after three years weigh less now then I did two years or even one year ago. I never go hungry, eat all the time, enjoy what i eat, never count calories or ever been even slightly concerned about my weight, or exercise. Eat all the highest fat everything I can find. My concern has been my high blood sugar level and high insulin levels, and just incidentally in learning to control them, the pounds fell off more or less accidentally. (my arthritis and other ailments such as periodontal disease for years, fell away accidentally also, and have never came back, despite now advancing to 80).Read our articles on how high sugar peaks. (raising insulin to dangerous high levels) is what causes advancement of degenerative disease, diabetes, and of course obesity, and is crucial in cutting your life expectancy way back. We suggest you eat as much natural high fat as you can find as often and as fat as you can find it, It does not raise your fat making hormone insulin at all. (caution, protein does raise your insulin level some, so easy does it, try to eat it with moderating high fat.) High Carb people always give you percentages. We suggest 75% fat calories, 20% protein and eat with the fat, and just 5% carbs...(Editors Note: takes lots of spinach to add up to 5%) This diet and ratio is the most tested diet ratio in history, worked for 20 billion people for 100,000 years. Read the experts now telling you that this ratio will kill you. That you need 40% carbs etc low fat etc. Check which one you think works. Just you take a look at current statistics...is what they are pushing working? The last 3 years I have been on it, lost and kept off over 60 pounds, never went hungry, stopped totally all periodontial disease, (had cost me over $1,500 a year in dentist bills previously) my arthiritis went away, and have not had a cold, flu or been sick or have not missed a day of work in the three years. Traveled to and visited extensively 7 countries in the last 3 years with no advance arrangements, tours etc. and ate native food available. Managed to get to 80 and can out last any employee (10) in number of hours, days, or output. You are reading 15th hour (late in the day) output.,That was NOT a testimonial to SELL you anything. Have no pills, no books, no seminars, nothing to sell you. Just trying to help you,.... but.... you have to take the action and make the changes before it is too late for you... .....nothing I can do but tell you.....and I am really working at that......
