The associated press has recently released new figures about U.S. Life Expectancy (apparently dropping like a stone to 42, lowest previous figure was 21st.) You could move to some relatively backward countries and expect to live far longer then in the USA.
US was listed for some time as 18th, in industrialized countries, we had ran this in articles and recently changed it to show it had recently been now listed that life expectancy in United States had dropped to 21st, in industrialized countries. Releases said that 20 backward countries had better life expectancy, then people living in U.S. despite US spending twice as much on medical costs per person then any country in the world. This article just released, says U.S. has now dropped to 42nd, apparently, this indicates a sharp downward trend with life expectancy in USA now being shown to be dropping like a stone. Excuse for this happening here in this article listed as "obesity and no universal health insurance", both ridiculous, most of those other places that beat out U.S. do not have free medical service insurance etc., and here in U.S. actually a relatively small number of people die of obesity or diabetes (6% diabetes). Overlooked, what causes those diseases, (diabetes and obesity) is what they ignore and is what is killing U.S. citizens. This Washington University guy has a quote at bottom of article (Murray):
